Entering Absence Into PowerSchool
PARENT INSTRUCTIONS - ENTERING YOUR CHILD’S ABSENCE INTO POWERSCHOOL
To report your child’s absence, please log in to the Parent PowerSchool Portal and enter their absence directly, use each tab for your children to report each respective child that will be absent from school.
*Attendance must be entered prior to 8:00 am to avoid an Unexcused Absence call for the morning and by 11:30 am for the afternoon. *
A reminder that when entering your child's attendance and they are absent all day - please be sure to go in and enter the absence for both the morning & the afternoon.
Use the instructions below to keep your child’s attendance up-to-date and avoid attendance calls from the school.
Parents are asked to log into the parent PowerSchool portal and follow the steps indicated in the instructions by clicking the link: Instructions for Entering Your Child’s Absence in PowerSchool. Also, attached for your convenience.
This is quick and easy and will remove the need for you to call in the absence.
